Kent, who was raised in Essex, followed his dream of being an actor after graduating from Italia Conti in 2007. His breakthrough performance came in the 2008 horror movie “Mirrors.” He played several different characters throughout his acting career, but one memorable one was that of a goatherd in Slavers Bay in “Game of Thrones.” He recently portrayed a dead body that came to life in the 2023 movie “Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.”

His artistic contributions extended beyond acting, encompassing projects like “Snow White and the Huntsman,” “Marshal’s Law,” “Bloody Cuts,” “The Frankenstein Chronicles,” “Blood Drive,” “Les Misérables,” “Green Fingers,” “EastEnders,” “Happy Hours,” “Love Without Walls,” and “Birds Sorrow.”

His outstanding accomplishment at the 2012 Van D’or Awards, where he was recognised as the best actor, was a career high point. This honour was given to him for his stirring depiction of Danny in the movie “Sunny Boy,” a character who had a rare skin ailment that prevented contact to the sun. Similar to his on-screen character, Kent also struggled with osteoporosis, arthritis, and a skin condition.

Additionally, he demonstrated his abilities as a celebrated writer and director, as demonstrated by his work on the 2021 short film “You Know Me,” for which he received the coveted January Award.
